About Hunarmund
Hunarmund was established on November 19, 2016 in Karachi, Pakistan. Hunarmund is an initiative bringing out the bright side of Pakistan by creating awareness about the skillful artisans and make their skills available to others in the society, empowering them to earn more through connecting them with the rest of the world as well as connecting them to the women who aspire to have a business from home, creating a platform that will make valuable use of these skills.
Hunarmund is working to bridge the gap between small size and medium sized businesses and, the skills and output of the poor people in Pakistan. Hunarmund means “skillful”. It stands to empower the skillful people to a greater level, where the people behind creating the handcrafted products in Pakistan, are recognized fully, for their skills and their efforts in keeping the art and culture of Pakistan alive.
